Three R’s: Recykal, a cheekily named startup, is attempting to redefine the three R's - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle - by adding a fourth: Refuel. Imagine your local garbage truck transformed into a modern-day alchemist, converting the city's mountains of waste into useful fuel. The energy drinks you toss out are now literally giving energy back - it's a caffeine kick for your car!

Waste = Valuable Resource? With its sights set on building a sustainable economy, Recykal is aiming to revamp Hyderabad's waste management and energy production. Collaborating with the Indian Oil Corporation, Recykal is offering credits in exchange for trash. Exchange garbage over 10 kgs to avail petrol in exchange for these credits at select petrol pumps.

Designer Tomatoes: Due to a mix of untimely rains and reduced supply, tomatoes in Hyderabad are potentially going the way of luxury goods. Hyderabadis, known for their love for tangy curries and chutneys, might need to start treating tomatoes like truffles, or maybe even start a tomato black market. If tomato prices continue to climb, we could soon see "Tomato Moguls" popping up, replacing IT moguls in this tech-savvy city.

There IS Hope: However, all hope is not lost! Experts predict that the price hike will be temporary and should start to decrease with the arrival of fresh supplies in the market. For now, though, Hyderabadis might want to hold off on the tomato-throwing at bad performers. At these prices, a good old-fashioned boo might be more cost-effective!
