Telangana <3ās Foxconn

Times of India

AirPods Soon Humming the āMade in Indiaā Melody: Apple is joining the ranks of tech giants who are looking to capitalize on India's production-linked incentive (PLI) schemes. Foxconn, Appleās key assembly partner, is reportedly preparing to become the stage for the AirPods' Indian debut, a significant step in Indiaās efforts to become a global electronics manufacturing hub.

New Look Coming for Charminar

In a move to give tourists more than just neck cramps from staring at the iconic monument, Hyderabad is all set to have a brand new Visitors' Plaza at Charminar. This upgrade aims to transform the bustling area into a convenient and comfortable space for tourists to take in the historical wonder without dodging traffic and street vendors.
Visitor Plaza: The planned Visitors' Plaza at Charminar is designed to declutter and beautify the surrounding space. This initiative, helmed by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), is envisioned as a pedestrian-friendly zone that will free the iconic landmark from the snarls of chaotic traffic and myriad street vendors.
Rearranging Layout: With a price tag of Rs 20 crore, the project isn't just giving the area a facelift, itās more like a full spa day complete with cucumber slices for the eyes. The proposal includes shifting existing vendors to a designated space and making room for beautiful lawns and seating arrangements, sit back, relax, and snap selfies with Charminar without having a scooter photobomb every shot.

Hyderabad: Where the Biryani is Hot, and the Real Estate Prices are Hotter!

Giphy
In the race for pricey real estate, Hyderabad has sprinted to second place among India's most expensive housing markets, just behind the ever-elusive Mumbai. The city, known for its rich history and spicy biryani, now adds āhigh-cost homesā to its list of attractions, as per a recent survey.
Trailing Only Mumbai in Prices: The report showcases that owning a square foot of residential space in Hyderabad is pricier than in cities like Delhi and Bengaluru, trailing only Mumbai in this financial marathon. It's as if the houses in Hyderabad have been marinated in a pricey sauce, with the average cost per square foot standing at an impressive Rs. 5,430.
7% Increase in Real Estate: Over the last year, property prices in the city have risen by a significant 7%, making Hyderabadās real estate scene as spicy as its renowned cuisine. The city's booming IT sector might be feeding this trend, attracting tech-savvy professionals who come for the jobs but stay for the skyrocketing property prices.

Hyderabad's Typewriting Centres

Telangana Today
In an age of speedy emails and autocorrect, Hyderabad's typewriting centres are a nostalgic throwback, steadfastly clacking away in the heart of the digital age. These centres, once considered the stepping stones to lucrative jobs, continue to charm those who find allure in the tactile pleasure of pressing typewriter keys, with students still enrolling for courses.
Hyderabadās Typewriting Centres: Where QWERTY is still a love language, not just a keyboard layout. Some students are drawn to the classes by the unique, rhythmic music of typewriter keys, while others see it as a way to improve their typing skills for computer jobs ā proving that not all heroes wear capes; some wear ink-stained fingers.
Memory Lane: Itās not just about the skills; itās about the ambiance. For many, these centres are a trip down memory lane, a comforting echo of a simpler time before spellcheck and backspaces. They offer a window into a world where the "ding" at the end of a line was a signal of progress, not a text message notification.
