In response to piling complaints, concerns, and grievances, the Greater Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has introduced the Citizen's Charter, a collection of ward offices that will address civil issues and complaints. Time slots will be assigned and specified for each registered issue and if the deadline isn't met, the complaint will be passed on to higher officials.
Functional Ward Offices for the Folks: Starting June 16th, up to 17 civic services will be provided at the Ward Level Offices and residents are expecting timely resolutions this once. In the instance of a stretched-out pending period, Assistant Engineers, Assistant Executive Engineers, Assistant Medical Officer of Health, Veterinary Field Assistants, Vikasam Resource Person, and other officers will be held responsible for abiding by the Citizen’s Charter.
A Tentative Scope of Services: Common issues like filling potholes, replacing damaged or missing catch pits, and repairing streetlights should be addressed by the office within 24 hours. More pressing issues like water stagnation and blockages in stormwater drains, and clearing construction and debris waste from roads need to be resolved within 48 hours. The Charter will also partake in the processes of issuing pet dog licenses (7 days), identity cards for Persons with Disabilities (PwDs), and senior citizens (15 days), and establishment and maintenance of public toilets (1 month).

And the Online Classes Continue

Source: Telangana Today
Caught amid yet another heatwave, some private schools in Hyderabad and a few other districts have opted for online classes or postponed their reopening. The state government reopened schools on June 12, but many private schools have decided to continue with admission drives instead of opening this past Monday.
No Respite from Heat: Some schools, like Delhi Public School, will continue online classes until the monsoon starts and have shared a circular for half-day classes. Around 90% of schools plan to remain closed due to unfavorable weather. Parents expressed their concerns about sending kids off to school in unfavorable weather.
Pining Parents: In Warangal, some schools have delayed classes until June 15th, while in Karimnagar, classes have been planned until 11:30 am until June 19th. Most parents support the postponement as it is easier for children to attend school after the monsoon to avoid dehydration and health issues caused by high heat. Parents are adamant about sending kids only after the wave subsides.
