These prestigious real estate projects are expected to be commission between 2026 and 2029. The tallest of these building is the Candeur Skyline with 59 floors at Puppalaguda.

Second In The Pecking Order: Per the India Real Estate Vision 2047 report by property consultant Knight Frank, the bustling centre of Somajiguda received the second most high-performing high street in the country characterised by its convenient access, parking facilities and a diverse range of retailers.

Drone Survey for Metro Rail Expansion

Looks like the Old City in Hyderabad is gearing up for a futuristic makeover. The Hyderabad Metro Rail is embarking on a drone survey in the Old City, because apparently, regular old ground surveys are too mainstream for the city's ambitious expansion plans!

Old City Metro Expansion: Armed with drones, the authorities are all set to survey the 5.5 km Old City metro project worth Rs 500 crore to take exact measurements of affected properties required for road widening of the narrow stretch between Dar-Ul-Shifa junction and Shalibanda junction.

Preserving Heritage Buildings: The drone survey will provide quick real-time data and help preserve 103 religious and other sensitive structures including 21 masjids, 12 temples, 33 dargahs and more. These sensitive structures prove to be a major challenge for completing the construction of the metro green line.

Demand for P-o-P idols: Artisans crafting beautiful idols of Ganesha from Plaster of Paris have received a bounty of orders from the neighbouring states of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka. An artisan Gajendra stated that 15,000 such idols have been made and are ready for export.

From Lived Experience: ‘Don’t Waste Food’ is an idea that germinated from the lived experiences of the 28-year-old program producer Malleshwar Rao. He waited tables and cleaned utensils at eateries and events during his college. At such an event, he saw a lot of excess food remaining after the event which eventually birthed this novel binge-eating initiative.

Be The Change You Want to See: Through this Malleshwar Rao has been feeding a square meal to over 2000 people every day for the last 11 years. Set up in 2012, the initiative has spread beyond Hyderabad - to Rajahmundry, Jamshedpur, and Rohtak. It feeds thousands of the needy in railway stations, and bus stops.
